Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services operated by Stringit Theory Pty Ltd ("Stringit", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

2. Use of Our Services

Our services are provided for lawful business purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or networks
  • Use our services to infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to our services to any third party without prior written consent

3. Account Responsibilities

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Promptly notifying Stringit of any unauthorised access or security breach

4. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you provide to us. You grant Stringit a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, process, and store your data solely for the purpose of delivering our services. This licence terminates upon the termination of your use of our services.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in our website, services, software, branding, and design are and remain the property of Stringit Theory Pty Ltd.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or improvement ideas, you grant Stringit a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose.

6. Third-Party Services

Our services may connect to or reference third-party applications. Stringit is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party platforms. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or non-public information disclosed during the course of the relationship. This obligation does not apply to information that:

  • Is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party
  • Was already known to the receiving party prior to disclosure
  • Is independently developed without reference to confidential information
  • Is required to be disclosed by law, regulation, or court order

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stringit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship with 30 days written notice. Stringit may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach any material term of these Terms or if continued provision of the service would violate applicable law.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful within 30 days, the dispute may be submitted to the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

11. Changes to These Terms

Stringit may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
